Yeah, he is most known for the Office. But he also did great in the indie film Away We Go. He's an actor. If he was a stand-up comic, that'd be one thing. But this dude really does have some acting chops. As for size, that is what bulking up is for. Liev Schreiber was pencil thin in his movies before Wolverine, but he got huge for that role. Same thing for Gerard Butler before 300 (watch Reign of Fire or Dracuala 2000... skinny!). I've been watching Super Hero Squad with my 4 yr old and let me tell you, it's absolutely brilliant. It's funny, action packed and the animation is pretty cool as they make the characters short and stocky, kinda like kids. My point is my sons totally love this cartoon, which is awesome because the cartoon introduces alot of characters. It's not just the Avengers, it's the X - Men, Fantastic 4, and S.H.E.I.L.D. members fighting together against all the foes of each team, introducing characters like Brain, Modok, Red Skull, The Enchantress, Baron Mordo, Loki, Abomination and more. It helps the kids relate more to the heros so that when the actual movies come out, they'll want to go see their favorite heros in live action and understand whats going on i.e.Thor, Cap, Avengers.I like how Marvel also made the heros more like their existing in the present i.e.Silver Surfer talks like a surfer(dude),"Hulk like pretty kitty". They also introduce heros like Reptil, Black Falcon, Punisher, Blade, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Miss Marvel and many more. I'm here to say WB and DC better get their asses in gear, Marvel/Disneys people have got the ball and they're running with it while DC/WB are still scratchin their heads on who's, what's, when's, and how's. Don't get me wrong I love DC just as much as Marvel BB and TDK were brilliant, but as of right know Marvels got more of their **** together.. I think he could pull it off, just like michael keaton (who was only known for comedy) did. another example of someone pulling it off is bruce willis when he did die hard (he was also only known for comedy). so i'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt in the "almost" casting choice.
