Exclusive Preview: Amazing Spider-Man #77

Spider-Man is going Beyond! However, there’s no room for Peter Parker at the moment. The Beyond Corporation wants its own Spider-Man, and they’ve got him:  Ben Reilly. As you may recall, Ben is Peter’s clone, and he was briefly Spider-Man during The Clone Saga years ago. Regardless of his connection to Peter, Ben is a willing participant in Beyond Corp’s attempt to usurp Spider-Man’s legacy.

Additionally, Peter has been gravely injured due to an exposure to deadly gases and high radiation. Ben Reilly really is the only Spidey in town now. He’s also feeling an extreme amount of guilt for Peter’s condition. But the world still needs a Spider-Man…

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Amazing Spider-Man #77, writer Kelly Thompson and artist Sara Pichelli showcase Ben during a training session with Misty Knight and Colleen Wing, the Daughters of the Dragon! Unfortunately, Ben’s heart clearly isn’t in this fight and they’re giving him all he can take.
